Faxon names Prior CFO

PRIOR COMMITMENT: In a somewhat less dramatic high-level hiring, Roger Faxon has appointed Ruth Prior as EMI Group CFO. She’ll work closely with divisional CFOs Shane Naughton (EMI Music) and Thomas Kelly (EMI Music Publishing). Reporting directly to Faxon, Prior will take up the post immediately and will be based in EMI's London HQ. Prior has spent the last three years as a senior adviser to EMI in her role as Finance Director for Portfolio Business at, yup, Terra Firma. Said Faxon: " Ruth brings not only a very strong track record in corporate finance, but a clear understanding of the business and its operations. She has been a great champion of EMI over the last three years, and I am delighted that she will be joining us to help drive our strategy forward."
