SEISMIC SHIFTS, TOO: With the impending exit of Rolf Schmidt-Holtz, and Doug Morris’ new role at UMG decidedly less hands-on, it only seems logical Sony Music would consider the legendary industry vet a strong candidate for the job. Insiders say Morris still has a lot of gas in the tank after having built the single most successful music company of all time from a place once christened the Music Cemetery of America.
