Canter Goes Solo

LUNCH AT CANTER’S: Michael Canter, the highly respected industry vet who spent the last 14 years heading the sales department at Roadrunner Records, has hung a shingle. The new sales and marketing consultancy, called, cleverly enough, Michael Canter Consulting, has just inked deals with In De Goot Entertainment (home to such rock luminaries as Theory of a Deadman, Shinedown and Adelitas Way) and Italian label Frontiers Records, with heritage rock acts Whitesnake, Asia, Sebastian Bach and Mr. Big.
