iHeartRadio fest sells out

TOP 40 COMES ALIVE: Tickets for the inaugural iHeartRadio Music Festival sold out 10 minutes after going on sale yesterday, according to Clear Channel. That’s undoubtedly attributable to the star power of the lineup assembled for the event, taking place Sept. 23-24 at the MGM Grand in Vegas, which includes Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Carrie Underwood, Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, Kelly Clarkson, the Black Eyed Peas, John Mayer, Jane's Addiction, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, David Guetta, Sublime With Rome and “special guest performances” by Sting and Usher, with more names still to be announced. The fest is expected to draw more than 25k overall. The whole thing was put together to hype the launch of the iHeartRadio app, which’ll stream CC programming to vomputers, tablets, iPhones, Androids, etc. Naturally, the whole thing will be streamed live.
