O'Sullivan Lands at Sugar Hill

O'SULLIVAN'S TRAVELS: Veteran label exec Cliff O’Sullivan has been named GM/SVP of Welk Music Group’s Nashville-based Sugar Hill label, overseeing artist development efforts on behalf of Sarah Jarosz, Jim Lauderdale, Sam Bush, Marty Stuart and Joey+Rory, among others. The announcement was made by Sugar Hill and Vanguard President Kevin Welk. O’Sullivan was previously SVP Group Marketing at Universal Music Group Distribution. His career began as a college rep for CBS Records while earning his BA in Political Economy at UC Berkeley, and went on to work at both Epic and Columbia Records, PolyGram, RCA Records, Chrysalis Records and EMI Distribution.
