PRIMARY PUBLICITY: Primary Wave Music's Larry Mestel has announced the launch of an in-house publicity department, which will be headed by Anne Watkins, formerly of Lizzie Grubman PR. Developing this publicity department gives Primary Wave artists yet another brand-building resource, along with the in-house Brand Synergy Group, digital marketing company BrightShop, the management team as well as the pubbery’s in-house film, television, video game and commercial advertising and TV development department. While at Grubman, Anne spearheaded PR campaigns for Billy Baldwin, rapper Plies, Victoria’s Secret model Kylie Bisutti and Chynna Phillips, among others. Primary Wave’s management clients include Cee Lo Green, Eric Benet, Cam Meekins, Volbeat and Taddy Porter, among others. (8/22p)
