Bridge School Benefit CD, DVD Coming

TAKE IT TO THE BRIDGE: The Bridge School Benefit Concerts—25th Anniversary Edition, a three-DVD set and a two-CD collection featuring live performances from the artists who’ve participated at Neil and wife Pegi Young’s annual shows, will be released on Oct. 24 by Reprise Records. Artists featured on the three-DVD set include Bruce Springsteen, Patti Smith, Pearl Jam, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, The Who, Tom Petty, Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Young and Crazy Horse, among many more, while the two-CD set includes exclusive performances from Sheryl Crow, Thom Yorke, Norah Jones, No Doubt, Willie Nelson, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews and Sonic Youth. The cover art was designed by renowned artist Shepard Fairey. All proceeds from sales of the DVDs and CDs will go to benefit the Bridge School, whose annual show this year takes place at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA, on Oct. 22 and 23.
