IDOL CONTESTANT CARREY’S ON: Last night’s American Idol audition show on Fox, which took place in San Diego aboard the USS Midway, featured a performance by one Jane Carrey, a 24-year-old waitress and single mom—and daughter of superstar Jim Carrey—who sang Bonnie Raitt’s “Something to Talk About.” Judge Jennifer Lopez, who worked with her dad on In Living Color some two decades ago, asked if she remembered her, while Jane just looked “amused” at the question.
