Opening Act Premieres on E!

OPENING ACT’S OPENING ACT: Set your TiVos for tonight’s premiere of Opening Act on E! at10 p.m.(PST/EST), the new reality series created by EA’s Steve Schnur, who serves as executive producer with Nigel Lythgoe. Tonight’s episode features, Allen, TX, coffee shop performer Arielle, discovered on YouTube, who learns she was picked to open in five days for Rod Stewart at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, creating “lots of stress, tears and anxiety” along the way. At the end of each episode, the Openers’ single (featured throughout) will be available on iTunes, with this one produced and written by Rock Mafia. Among the stars set for the series are Brad Paisley, LMFAO, Jason Mraz, Jason Aldean, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj and Gym Class Heroes. Look for the show to gou out to more than 90-plus countries starting in Sept. (7/9a)
