As "Diamonds" premieres, Rihanna sponsors drive for Sandy victims

“DIAMONDS” & SLEEPING BAGS: As VEVO premieres the video for “Diamonds,” the lead single from Rihanna’s Unapologetic (Def Jam/IDJ, 11/19), the N.Y. Daily News reports that she’s donating 1,000 sleeping bags to the paper’s Hurricane Sandy relief effort, and is allowing guests free entry to a listening party today if they bring supplies for Sandy victims. The event is being held at Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club at 6 W. 25th St. from 4:30 to 6:30. All the items collected will be packed into a Daily News truck and delivered Saturday to sections of the city that are still recovering from the storm.
