Napster movie to premiere at SXSW

SOCIAL MEDIA, THE PREQUEL: In other movie news, the Napster doc Downloaded will be premiere in March at the SXSW Film Festival. Shawn Fanning gets his moment in the sun, and this time Sean Parker gets to play himself in the film, directed by Alex Winters (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, The Lost Boys). Said Winters in the announcement, “It’s about the music and the bands, the fans and the moguls, and the brilliant young minds that ignited the biggest youth revolt since Alan Freed hit the radio.” Check out the trailer, above.
