Motown: The Musical Previews Starting

MOTOWN ON BROADWAY: Here’s a first look at Motown: The Musical, which begins previews March 11 at Broadway’s Lunt-Fontanne Theater, with an opening scheduled for April 14. Among the principal backers in the production are the label’s founder Berry Gordy and Doug Morris. The young Michael Jackson will be portrayed by Raymond Luke Jr., who is now 12 years old. He’ll alternate the role with another young actor, Jibreel Mawry, according to People.com. (2/25p)
