SESAC Honors Glass

LOVE THE SOUND OF BREAKING GLASS: Glassnote Records Founder/CEO Daniel Glass continued to rack up industry kudos, being honored at last night’s 17th Annual SESAC Pop Awards, held at the N.Y. Public Library, with the org’s “Visionary Award,” presented to him by Mumford & Sons’ Ben Lovett, also cited for the band’s song “I Will Wait.” Daniel is pictured shortly before challenging the following to run a marathon while holding a half dozen issues of HITS magazine (l-r) SESAC SVP Writer/Publisher Relations Trevor Gale, VP Writer/Publisher Relations Linda Lorence Critelli and Chairman/CEO Stephen Swid; Lovett; Glass, and SESAC Sr. Director Writer/Publisher Relations Jamie Dominguez. The evening’s big winners included Rick Love being named Songwriter of the Year, Trey Songz’ “Heart Attack” as Song of the Year and Sony/ATV Publisher of the Year. (5/14p)
