Petty channel on SiriusXM

YOU GOT LUCKY: Starting today at 6 p.m. ET/3 PT, Tom Petty will have his own channel on SiriusXM. The limited-run channel, which celebrates’ Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers' summer tour, will be located on channel 111 through May 31. In other words, for the next two weeks, Tom Petty Radio will be your go-to place for the music of TP&HBs, the Hall of Famers’ solo work, The Traveling Wilburys and Mudcrutch, including little-heard live recordings both vintage and recent, along with interview snippets. The channel will feature some classic moments from Tom Petty's Buried Treasure, SiriusXM's excellent long-running weekly show. And on June 1, SiriusXM.com will launch a new online channel showcasing Buried Treasure 24/7 channel will be heard on SiriusXM Internet Radio on channel 714. (5/17a)
