Amanda Palmer

"SHHH—IT'S JUST A NAKED WOMAN": Amanda Palmer is not to be trifled with. In response to an idiotic item in the British tabloid The Daily Mail centered entirely on her nip-slip at the Glastonbury Festival, the innovative singer/songwriter and Twitter megastar (a) composed a music-hall-style number as an open letter to the publication and (b) performed a portion of it in the altogether at a London show. In the very amusing song (since tweeted and otherwise shared by thousands) she refers to the paper's staff as a "misogynist pile of twats."
