Sharell attacked

SHOCKING NEWS: Industry veteran turned crooner Jerry Sharell is in critical condition after being attacked with a machete Sunday at his home in Woodland Hills, KABC reported. The attacker, his girlfriend’s ex-husband, held the couple hostage for more than three hours before turning violent, stabbing both Sharell and himself. The woman was also injured when she tried to stop the attack, but she managed to escape and called 911. The LAPD said she had a restraining order against her ex-husband for a history of domestic violence; so much for that. Sharell, who suffered stab wounds to his neck and head, is expected to live.
