All Thing D, WSJ divorce

WALT FROZEN OUT? The 22-year association between tech guru Walt Mossberg and The Wall Street Journal will soon come to an end when the Rupert Murdoch-owned paper/website and the Mossberg-co-founded All Things D go their separate ways at the end of the year in what Dow Jones/WSJ describes as a mutual agreement. Mossberg and site co-founder Kara Swisher are reportedly in negotiations with investors and media companies, including NBCUniversal, for their next partnership. (9/20a)
