BEALE APPEAL: As we mentioned yesterday, Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 is streaming in its groove-adelic entirety on iTunes leading up to its release on Monday (9/30), and we can’t think of a more motivating musical accompaniment to your workday. As we listened, the track that stopped us in our tracks was the deeply soulful, blues-guitar-accented “Drink You Away,” an evocative, utterly convincing reminder of JT’s Memphis roots. Good thinkin' on the part of RCA for working this extremely effective gambit for the second week in a row; Timberlake takes over the slot from another distinctive example of Southern cooking: Kings of Leon’s Mechanical Bull.
