YOUR WEEKLY FRONTLINE MARKETSHARE SCORECARD: The big boys threw their weight around this week. It was a foregone conclusion that Columbia would seize the top spot thanks to an expert setup that took full advantage of One Direction’s youth-skewing appeal (see our lead story for more on that subject). Interscope drove to the second spot behind #2 Eminem, #7 Gaga and #14 Imagine Dragons, edging RCA, with its own threesome of #4 Kelly Clarkson, #10 Miley Cyrus and #11 Justin Timberlake. Add these three labels to the other three power hitters on this week’s chart and you just happen to have the top six labels in terms of frontline marketshare on the year as a whole. And if there’s another runaway winner in the four remaining weeks of 2013, we strongly suspect it’ll probably be powered by a Christmas album. (12/4a)
