A Night at the Forum

STAND UP TO FIGHT: The newly-revived Forum hosted over 1,200 people for the gala event A Night at the Forum, which raised funds for The Lustgarten Foundation; the nonprofit is biggest national organization fighting pancreatic cancer. With the support of gala co-chairs Irving Azoff, James L. Dolan, Peter Grosslight and William H. Isacoff, M.D., the sold-out event raised $2.5m to aid in the foundation's research towards a cure. A funding partner of Stand Up To Cancer also added an additional $10m to help in the fight. The event was hosted by Chris Harrison, of ABC's The Bachelor, and featured performances from the Eagles, Joan Baez and JD & the Straight Shot, with Nobel Laureate Dr. James Watson as a speaker. The event hit particularly close to home for the Eagles, as co-chair Grosslight previously worked as the band's agent and is currently suffering from pancreatic cancer himself.
