Blake Griffin in RS

LOB CITY, VERBAL EDITION: Clippers power forward Blake Griffin gets the rock-star treatment in the current issue of Rolling Stone. In the full-page Q&A, he admits to Rob Tannenbaum that his first concert was headlined by Creed. “I’m gonna delegate the blame for that to my older brother,” says Blake. “When he said, ‘I’m gonna go to the Creed concert,’ I was like, ‘I want to go too.’ No one told me, ‘Hey Blake, this isn’t cool,’ so I was all in on Creed. Somewhere along the line, that changed. Not to just completely shit on Creed, that music's just not my style anymore.” When asked to name his favorite rapper of all time, Griffin replies, “I'd have to go with Marky Mark,” also funny. He also talks about his cameo in Sacha Baron Cohen’s The Dictator, a gas-assisted slam dunk and his belief in Creationism during the course of the candid and funny interview. (4/16a)
