Paul Simon and Edie Brickell

TALK ABOUT TROUBLED WATER: Musicians in matrimony Paul Simon and Edie Brickell hit the courtroom today, after being arrested for disorderly conduct at their home in New Canaan, Connecticut on Saturday night. The physical dispute was reportedly called in by Brickell's mother. Simon claims the argument was "atypical" of the pair's 22-year marriage; Brickell also insisted "he's no threat to me at all." They left the scene hand-in-hand. The judge declined a protective order to keep the couple apart; they're due to reappear in court on 5/16. (4/28p)
