Rick Krim item for 10AM

KRIM OF THE CROP: After 13 years at the post, Rick Krim has opted to resign as EVP Talent & Music Programming at VH1. The respected and extremely well-liked exec has served more than a quarter century in the MTV Networks system, having worked as VP Talent and Artist Relations at MTV from its dawning days until 1995. He spent six years as SVP Talent Acquisitions and Marketing at EMI Music Publishing before being tapped by then VH1/CMT prexy John Sykes for the top VH1 position in 2001. With his expertise in media, artist relations and publishing, Krim will no doubt be a hot free agent – after honing his handicap to a steady +5. He can be reached at [email protected]. Whom will VH1 President Tom Calderone anoint as Krim's successor? Those are some mighty big shoes to fill. (5/8p)
