Koby makes partner at Davis Shapiro
HOWDY, PARTNER: Davis Shapiro Lewit Grabel Leven Granderson and Blake has a new partner: Jonathan Koby. The firm’s Peter Lewit refers to Koby—who’s been in house for six years and has worked with Aloe Blacc, Dan+Shay, Ne-Yo and breakout diva Tinashe among others—as a “rising star,” having encountered him when Koby was part of the management team of The Sounds. “I personally couldn’t be happier,” Lewit declares. “That’s why I plan to humiliate Jonathan by putting him on your lame website.” (7/1p)
