Garth dates

PARTY ON, GARTH: As promised, Garth Brooks—fresh from announcing his new Sony deal and tour—has announced the location of the first date of the forthcoming U.S. trek, with Trisha Yearwood supporting: the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL, where he'll make his first Chicago-area appearance in 17 years on 9/4. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster on 7/25 at the modest price of $65.50 including fees. We previously noted that a new Garth album is due on or around Black Friday via RCA Nashville, and that for the first time the mega-selling country troubadour's albums will be available for download through his website.
