Flom-Bloomberg

CLOSE TALKER: Standup comic Jason Flom (who claims that Lorde is his biggest fan) is seen with Michael Bloomberg just after invading the former Mayor’s personal space and trying out some new blue material on him. Bloomberg’s “I wish I was somewhere else” expression suggests that he’s a tough audience, particularly when the jokes are delivered with a spit shpritz. Flom’s impassioned rendition of Jessie J’s newly minted smash “Bang Bang,” by contrast, inspired Bloomberg to belt out the hook in a voice uncannily resembling Ariana Grande’s. Flom subsequently described the experience as "a Lava a minute." (7/31a)
