iTunes UK charts

YE JOLLY OLDE iTUNES U.K. CHARTS: The British Commonwealth is well represented on this late-summer Friday. Australia’s Troye Sivan tops the album chart, while Iggy Azalea finally cracks the singles Top 10—though not with her first U.S. smash, “Fancy,” but the second, “Black Widow.” Canada has a pair of all-stars in Magic!, with a transatlantic smash under their belts, and Kiesza, who returns with the follow-up to her British chart-topper, “Hideaway,” as the latter record gains momentum in the States. Scotland is represented by Paolo Nutini, whose Caustic Love is one of the year’s biggest albums in the U.K. Last we heard, Ibiza wasn’t part of the former Empire. And how about those scrappy American Colonies, the home of OneRepublic (featuring HITS cover boy Ryan Tedder) and Ariana Grande? No one is sure where ZHU is from, but it turns out that our description of the Polydor act as “a female dance artist” was dead wrong gender-wise. Next time, we promise to find out about Rizzle Kicks and Lovable Rogues. (8/15a)
