Chart final

CHART ATTACK: The HITS Building Album Sales Chart has finished building, with three various-artists compilations (including two huge Disney STs) ruling the roost; see our wrap-up story here. Meanwhile, chart noters noting another Top 5 debut by a new artist on Steve Barnett’s surging Capitol: Troye Sivan. The Australia-bred troubadour’s TRYXE EP bows at #5 this week after racing to the top at iTunes. A TV star down under, Sivan made huge waves with his YouTube clips before being inked by EMI Australia's Mark Holland last year. A U.S. derby ensued, with multiple UMG labels in the running; Capitol A&R chief Mike Flynn ultimately got the collar. Sivan is at work on his debut full-length now. (8/19p)
