SONG SUNG NEW: Capitol has announced Neil Diamond's first new studio album in six years, today. Melody Road, co-produced by Don Was and Jacknife Lee, is the first Diamond album to be released through the tower since his smash 1980 soundtrack to The Jazz Singer; it's available for pre-order as of today and will hit the streets 10/21. “Neil has made a brilliant record, one of the very finest in his singular body of work," proclaimed Capitol topper Steve Barnett.
