HELLA, ELLA: Sony/ATV has inked diva in waiting Ella Henderson to a worldwide publishing deal. The deal follows on the heels of her U.K. chart-topping debut single “Ghost” and of her SYCO/Columbia album Chapter One (hitting 9/30), which finds the precocious 18-year-old co-writing with the likes of Ryan Tedder, Babyface, Salaam Remi, Jamie Scott (1D, 5SOS) and other hot shots. Henderson first came into view as a finalist on The X Factor U.K. in 2012, inspiring Adele to hail the teenager as “absolutely incredible.” Said manager Mark Hargreaves, “Ella has the potential to have a long-term career not only as an artist but as a stand-out songwriter of her generation. We are delighted to be working with Guy Moot, Jacque O’Leary and the team at Sony/ATV.” (9/18a)
