UK Top 10

NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS—IT’S THE U.K. CHARTS: The big hits just keep on behaving like big hits, as Ezra, Sheeran and Smith continue to play their game of musical chairs, while Barbra Streisand is showing remarkable strength. Hozier, who’s signed to Island in the U.K., finished on top of the week’s four Top 10 debuts. Interestingly, Lady Antebellum (on Decca in the U.K.) opened strong at #12, a nice start for a country act on the other side of the pond, while Reprise’s Stevie Nicks bowed at #14.

Meghan Trainor holds onto the top spot on the singles big board, duplicating its stateside success. The same can be said of Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’s “Bang Bang” (Lava/Republic), which moves up to #2, one slot above Nicki’s debuting “Anaconda” (Cash Money/Republic), supplanting Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” now #4, while Jeremih f/YG’s “Don’t Tell ’Em” (Def Jam) debuts at #5, for a nearly all American Top 5.
