BACK TO BASICS BASICALLY TROUBLE FOR LIMP BIZKIT

Limp Bizkit's Back To Basics tour has brought out primal urges in its fans, as minor trouble plagued stops in Houston and Chicago and forced the cancellation of a second date in Dallas.

According to Launch, fans lined up two days early for the Houston shows slated for Monday (7/31) and Tuesday (8/1). Police were called to the scene when a wet T-shirt contest disrupted the first-day's wait.

Houston Police Department spokesperson Robert Hurst said: "The crowd gathered outside the Aerial Theater in Houston for the free Limp Bizkit ticket giveaway was very well behaved. There were no major problems to speak of observed by the Houston Police Department officers at the scene. There were five arrests made, and also one arrest for indecent exposure."

Some fans were reportedly "scarred for life" at the sight of sweaty redneck men flaunting their he-boobies in transparent cotton. Ten fans were treated at an area hospital for heat-related illness, or illness related to the sight of sweaty redneck he-boobies.

Boobs of another kind caused a ruckus at Limp Bizkit's Chicago show. Witnesses described the wait as "chaos." A disabled fan claimed he was pushed out of his wheelchair while on line. Bizkit fan Doug Mason summed up the situation: "Whoever ran the fastest and pushed the hardest got the tickets" (hitsdailydouble, 8/2). Fans weighted down with body armor and guns were slowed to the end of the line.

Limp Bizkit's Back To Basics tour will be at the Bronco Bowl in Dallas Thursday (8/3). A second show slated for Friday (8/4) has been canceled. Organizers said fans will have to resort to the usual Friday night fare of cow-tipping for entertainment.
