Hot Country Knights, who recently inked with Capitol Nashville, are on a mission: to counter the sweater-clad sensitivity of some recent country with a return to old-school (or at least '90s) virtues—namely, hard-partying good times. Frontman Douglas "Doug" Douglason (who bears an eerie resemblance to another Nashville artist, whose name escapes us) insists they're putting the "T" back in country. We're not sure if that means "Texas," "testosterone" or sweet tea with bourbon, but we're in.

Not content to just pose for a signing photo, the Knights put together this video clip of their arrival at (invasion of?) UMGN HQ, wherein they demand an audience with "Mike Duncan," and also a record deal and some food. Later, label boss Mike Dungan, President Cindy Mabe and team get in the spirit, while the band members ransack all the nearby offices. Watch to the end, as Cindy's expression in the final frame speaks volumes.

Of course, the band did ultimately sit for the somewhat traditional signing photo seen at the top of this story, which featured the following fine folks: (front, l-r) Mabe, Douglason and Dungan; (back, l-r) UMGN EVP A&R Brian Wright, Red Light's Mary Hilliard Harrington, the band's Terotej “Terry” Dvoraczekynski, Marty Ray “Rayro” Roburn, Barry Van Ricky and Monte Montgomery, UMGN EVP Promo Royce Risser, the Knights' Trevor Travis and WME Nashville Co-Head Jay Williams.

Rumors that the band drove off in a Bentley couldn't be confirmed at presstime.
