Sony Music Nashville has announced the appointment of Olivia Laster to Associate Director, Promotion and Artist Development for the company, effective today.

Laster will be reporting directly to EVP of Promotion and Artist Development Steve Hodges.

“Olivia exudes the necessary forward thinking and adaptation to today’s vibrant, changing, and exhilarating marketplace," said Hodges of the promotion, "she will be a key part of developing strategic plans to help ensure successful results for all Sony Music Nashville. I could not be more excited to announce that she’s coming back to join the amazing team at SMN!”

Prior to her new position, Laster worked at Sony Music Nashville as Promotion Specialist for Arista Nashville, focusing on artist projects including Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, Brad Paisley, LANCO and Seth Ennis.

“I am thrilled and so grateful for this opportunity to work with Steve and the team at Sony Music Nashville again,” said Laster, “I look forward to what we will accomplish together to propel the company to new heights!"

Laster then promptly deleted HITS from her call-back list.
