HER BOWL RUNNETH OVER
10/12/16

“I just met a fan who was done up exactly like me,” says the legendary Dolly Parton during this backstage plaque ceremony before one of her two sold-out Hollywood Bowl shows. “And I think his name was Albert.” Seen just before the traditional Counting of the Wigs in the audience are (l-r) Sony Music Nashville chief Randy Goodman, Dolly and CTK Management topper Danny Nozell.

The plaque commemorated the #1 debut of Pure & Simple (Dolly/RCA Nashville), her first chart-topping release in 25 years. The set has remained in the Top 10 since its 8/19 release. Dolly will receive the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 50th annual CMA Awards, which are set to air 11/2 at 8pm ET on ABC.
