U.K. CHARTS: KILLERS CRUISE TO #1
8/28/20

The Killers have their sixth #1 on the U.K.'s Official Albums Chart as Imploding The Mirage (EMI) records 50,000 sales. Over on singles, BTS’ with “Dynamite” (Big Hit) is the highest new entry at #3.

The Killers outsold the rest of this week’s Top 5 combined and are now the only non-U.K. band to have six consecutive #1 albums in the U.K. beginning with their debut.

Erasure’s The Neon (Mute) opens at #4, while Liverpool singer-songwriter Jamie Webster enters at #6 with his debut, We Get By (Modern Sky).

On the U.K.’s Official Singles chart, BTS have their highest charting single and first Top 10 in the U.K. with “Dynamite.” Joel Corry and MNEK’s “Head & Heart” (Atlantic) logs a sixth week at the top with 62,000 chart sales, including 7.6m streams.

“WAP” (Atlantic) by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion finished at #2 just 1.7k sales behind.

Headie One scores his strongest chart debut yet this week with “Ain’t It Different” (Relentless) at #4, while 24KGoldn has the biggest climber of the week, as TikTok viral hit “Mood” f/Iann Dior (Black Butter) zooms 40 places to #11.
