U.K. MIDWEEKS: HAYLEY HEADS FOR #1

Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber are on course for a #1 whiile Hayley Williams’ debut solo album, Petals for Armor (Atlantic), leads the U.K.’s Official Albums race by more than of 1,100 combined chart sales.

At the midweek stage, Petals for Armor sits one place ahead of the debut album from The D-Day Darlings, I’ll Remember You (Sony Music CG). Originally released in November 2018 and peaking at #15, the Britain’s Got Talent finalists have released the Celebration Edition featuring four new songs to commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE Day on Friday.

Elsewhere, Kehlani is on course for her first U.K. Top 10 album with It Was Good Until It Wasn’t (Atlantic) at #6, while Canadian rapper Nav’s Good Intentions (UMG) is at #9. Lil Durk is also set for a new entry with Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 (UMG) at #22.

Over on the U.K.’s Official Singles midweek chart, charity release “Stuck With U” (UMG) by Grande and Bieber sits ahead of Drake’s “Toosie Slide” (Island) by 2,500 combined chart sales.
