NEW NAMES AT NETTWERK, POLYDOR
6/30/17

There have been a number of U.K. executive moves this week with departures announced at Sony/ATV and Red Essential, and additions at Nettwerk and Polydor.

Angus Blair (pictured), who spent just under six years in A&R at Global’s records and publishing division, has been tapped as Director of U.K. A&R & Creative at Nettwerk Music Group where he’ll be discovering and signing talent in Blighty and Europe. Across 20 years in the industry, Blair has spent time at China Records and Chrysalis. Elsewhere at Nettwerk, former Label Manager Krishandeep Thind has been promoted to Director of U.K. Marketing and Label Strategy.

Ali Tant, Head of Marketing at Red Essential, is leaving after nearly four years for a new job at Polydor. At Sony/ATV, VP of A&R Daniel Lloyd Jones is stepping down and joining a new company with details to be announced in September. During his tenure at the publisher, Jones has signed Plan B, George The Poet and PJ Harvey and also manages Pixie Geldof. He previously worked at EMI Music Publishing.
