UTA INKS DARREN KIELY
2/29/24

UTA has inked folk singer-songwriter Darren Kiely for global representation in all areas.

With roots in Irish traditional music, Kiely's transition to NY sparked collaborations with producer David Baron (The Lumineers). His singles "How Could You Love Me," "Ella," and "Time to Leave" hit Ireland's Top 50 Viral chart, while “Mom & Dad” debuted Top 40 on the Irish Singles chart and Top 5 on the Irish Homegrown chart. His latest track, "Sunrise," from his EP Lost also soared to #1 on the Homegrown chart.

With 30m+ global streams, Kiely—the flagship artist for Sony Nashville’s newly announced non-country label Free Flight Records—hit the road last fall, stopping for headlining shows in Boston and NY before heading home to Ireland for a sold-out leg of his Road Home Tour in November.

In January 2024, he kicked off his expanded 33-date headline North American trek, The Lost Tour, selling out rooms in Chicago, Toronto, Philadelphia, Minneapolis and more. Kiely will embark on the second leg of his NA tour in early March.

Seen above feeling extra grand are (l-r) UTA’s Josh Garrett, Beth Morton and Scott Clayton, Kiely, Rich MGMT’s Brendan Rich and Sarah Paravia, UTA’s Buster Phillips, Sarah Casey and Sydney Bryant.
