BROWN & MARSHMELLO'S COUNTRY/POP "MILES"-TONE

With their just-released collaboration “Miles on It,” Kane Brown and Marshmello become the first male artists to top the Pop and Country add boards simultaneously. Taylor Swift did so in 2012 with “We Are Never Getting Back Together” and Beyoncé in February with “TEXAS HOLD 'EM.”

The timing couldn’t be better for Brown, who's up for Entertainer of the Year at next week’s ACM Awards. He’s also slated to perform on the Prime Video broadcast. Meanwhile, Brown’s Up in the Air Tour, produced by AEG Presents, finds him headlining arenas, stadiums and festivals through September.

The “Miles on It” milestone required a strategic collaboration between RCA promo boss Keith Rothschild and Sony Nashville Promotion & Artist Development EVP Steve Hodges. The latter also spearheaded Bey’s Country campaign.

To celebrate Kane & 'Mello’s triumph, Rothschild sent HITS a package of Stuffed Puffs using frequent-flyer miles.
