RCA has inked hot roots-rock band the Red Clay Strays, which has been avidly pursued by multiple majors; the troupe's "Wondering Why" has racked up north of 100m streams. Big ups to Peter Edge, John Fleckenstein and A&R hitter Dan Chertoff, who previously inked Tyler Childers and Colter Wall and is proving to be an MVP in this musical lane. The company has a strong relationship with Dave Macias and crew at indie Thirty Tigers, which put out the Strays' prior music.
