SÁNCHEZ TO LEAD SONY LATIN'S WEST COAST OPS

Veteran Latin music exec Maria Inés Sánchez has joined Sony Music U.S. Latin as VP, West Coast Operations. Sánchez will be based in Los Angeles and will report directly to Miami-based Sony Music U.S. Latin GM Esteban Geller.

With over two decades of experience in the Latin music biz, including roles at UMG's Machete Music, Universal Latin America, Del Records and AfinArte Music, Sánchez has been a tireless advocate in the development of Mexican music and its artists.

"María Inés is an exceptional professional with 25+ years of experience in the music industry who has demonstrated an impressive ability to develop artists careers and create successful campaigns. Her expertise in marketing, PR and digital sales, together with her passion for Latin music will be invaluable to our team," said Geller.

"This is such an exciting time in Latin music and joining the Sony Music family is undoubtedly an amazing opportunity. I’m honored to contribute towards the continued growth of música Mexicana," said Sánchez.
