DYLAN AND BURNETT CUT THREE MORE ONE-OFF ACETATES

NeoFidelity Ionic Original acetate re-recordings of Bob Dylan’s “Masters of War,” “Simple Twist of Fate” and “Gotta Serve Somebody” will be offered for private sale at Christie’s New York.

These new Dylan recordings—created during recent studio sessions with producer T Bone Burnett—represent the second, third and fourth recordings to be cut to disc utilizing the patented Ionic technology from Burnett’s company, NeoFidelity, Inc. The three new discs follow the sale of the first edition to employ this technology: a recent recording of “Blowin’ in the Wind,” which fetched $1.8 million at Christie’s London in July 2022.

According to Burnett, the technology used to create the Ionic Original discs “advances the art of recorded sound and marks the first breakthrough in analog sound reproduction in more than 70 years, achieving dramatic improvements in listening experience and durability.”

Upon purchase, each disc will be custom-cut and coated with NeoFidelity’s ionic deposition and then personally signed by both Bob Dylan and Burnett.
