LYOR TO KEYNOTE AT SXSW, NO LIE
None other than YouTube exec and industry party clown Lyor Cohen will be among the keynote speakers at the South By Southwest conference; he'll give his address on 3/14.
Much handicapping is believed to be underway as to the number of lies that will issue from Cohen's lips during that speech in Austin—but as long as his lips are moving, all bets are off.
Insiders anticipate considerable prevarication on subjects like YouTube's ostensibly generous payments to artists, its transparency and the validity of including its stats on the Billboard charts. But who knows? That could just be for starters.
After all, everything's bigger in Texas.
