Jason Owen’s Sandbox Entertainment has parted ways with management client Shania Twain. The split occurred late last year, when Owen elected not to renew their management agreement.
Owen had been working with Twain since the launch of her last studio album, UP!, in 2002, on which he oversaw her PR and marketing. In 2010, Twain joined Sandbox's roster as a management client. During their tenure together, Twain became a New York Times Bestseller and completed a successful two-year Las Vegas residency—and she recently wrapped up one of the most successful tours of 2015.
Sandbox’s roster includes recent Grammy winners Little Big Town, as well as Faith Hill, Kacey Musgraves, Dan+Shay, Seth Ennis and the Johnny Cash and Hank Williams trusts.
