Hollywood Boulevard will be closed to traffic on Monday for a Van Halen concert that will air over two nights on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Fronting the band will be none other than David Lee Roth. There is no truth to the rumor, however, that Irving Azoff and Larry Solters will be the backing vocalists. Dave will be along for the ride when Van Halen embarks on a summer/fall tour that begins July 5 in Seattle and climaxes Oct. 2 at the Hollywood Bowl. The Kimmel appearance is in conjunction with the March 31 release of Tokyo Dome Live in Concert, Van Halen’s first-ever live album featuring DLR.
