S-Curve to UMGD

STEVE & JIM’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE: Steve Greenberg’s S-Curve Records has inked an exclusive U.S. distribution deal with UMGD, as well as an exclusive Canadian license deal with Universal Music Canada. Greenberg and UMGD President/CEO Jim Urie announced this morning. Upcoming S-Curve releases include the debut album from L.A.-based singer/songwriter Andy Grammer and new material from Care Bears on Fire and Diane Birch. Said Urie, “The range and quality of music they represent is tremendous, and with this exceptional roster and executive staff, S-Curve is exactly the kind of company that we want to partner with here.” Added Greenberg, “Jim Urie and his team have shown tremendous excitement about working with our artists. They are at the forefront of the changes underway in the music industry, and we look forward to working with them to release music in new and exciting ways." (8/11a)
