Azoff loves CC-Big Machine deal

GIVE THE ARTISTS SOME: A day after the announcement of a revolutionary revenue-sharing deal between Clear Channel and Big Machine (see item below), industry reactions are starting to trickle in, Digital Music News notes. "We're trying to convince labels to enter into a direct deal because we can't get legislation passed," Azoff told Bloomberg. "Clear Channel is first of these deals." (6/6a)
