Bareilles gets a bump from CBS Sunday Morning

SARA SMILES: When we think of TV shows that move the needle, CBS Sunday Morning isn’t the first one that comes to mind, although publicists love the low-keyed weekly program for its classy musical segments. But after Sara Bareilles was profiled on yesterday’s show, the singer/songwriter’s latest Epic album, the Grammy-nominated The Blessed Unrest, reentered the Top 10 at iTunes. It went all the way to #3 yesterday and is at #7 as of 9am PT. Take a look at this excerpt and you’ll better understand why so many early risers were inspired to click the “$7.99 Buy” button. (1/6a)
